Every sensor is partial
Treating any one sensor as authoritative invites both missed detections and false tracks. A trusted picture begins by treating sources as contributors: each detection is assessed, time-aligned and compared against the others before it becomes a track anyone acts on.

Correlation with confidence
When sources agree, tracks strengthen. When they disagree, the picture should say so — flagging reduced-confidence tracks rather than silently averaging contradiction away. Operators see not just what the system believes, but how firmly it believes it.

Detection and correlation inform decisions; they do not take them.
